This is a marvelous itinerary and we wanted to share this with you

Day 1 - Arrive Zurich, Switzeland, free day to explore, meet with Tour Director, have dinner and meet your Travel Companions.

Day 2 - Board the train to go from Zurich to Lucerne

Optional Tour choices in Lucerne - Optional sightseeing cruise on Lake Lucerne or a Swiss dinner featuring local specialties and entertainment

Day 3 - Depart Lucerne on the Interlaken Express.  Cross Brunig Pass, explore or take an Optional Tour with a funicular to the Harder Kulm for lunch and magnificent views.  From Interlaken take the GoldenPass Express train to Montreux, then continue to Lusanne.

Day 4 - Discover the delightful Swiss mountain region of ZermattStop in Montreux, on the shores of Lake Geneva.  Take an optional guided excursion to Chillon Castle before continuing by train to Zermatt.

Day 5 - Zermatt - Your excursion today takes you to the famous Gornergrat, traveling on board Europe's highest rack railway.  Views of the Matterhorn from its summer are spectacular.  The rest of the day is yours to explore Zermatt.

Day 6 - Your train is on the spectacular Glacier Express - one of the main highlights of the tour.  You will be traveling to St. Moritz going through 91 tunnels and across 291 bridges.

Day 7 - Take the Bernina Express train (UNESCO) to Tirano, Italy and back for one of Europe's most spectacular and breathtaking train rides.  Travel across the Bernina Pass via the Swiss Poshiavo area to Tirano in the Italian Valtellina.

Day 8 - Leave St. Moritz by train to return to Zurich.  Enjoy this beautiful city of Zurich on your own.

Day 9 - Your vacation ends with breakfast this morning.

NOTES FOR YOUR TOUR

The transfer window for your tour is 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. hours for arrival and departure.  Please advise us of any schedule changes as soon as possible.

Itinerary inclusions and  timings are not guaranteed and are subject to change

To make your train journey more comfortable, one piece of luggage will be transferred from one hotel to the next.

This rail tour requires guests to walk between hotels and train stations.  Uneven terrain and stairs in some train stations and included experiences may pose challenges for guests with physical limitations or reliant on mobility devices such as wheelchairs.

High altitudes may be challenging for some guests.  Maximum elevation is 10,100 ft. at Gornergrat and 5,978 ft. at St. Moritz.

Deposit will be required within a few days of booking and final payment will be due by May 31, 2027.

If you want to come in early to Zurich the price for July 28th or July 29th would be $157.00 per person for double occupancy per night.

If you want to extend in Zurich at the end of your tour the price for August 7th will be $274.00 per person for double occupancy and $136.00 for August 8th per person for double occupancy.

IMPORTANT:  We are only able to 10 spaces at a time, so if you are interested please book as soon as possible to secure your spot.
